Parking

  • Free parking is available for all visitors.

  • Accessible parking spaces (HC) are located closest to the entrance.

 Main Building

  • Entrance at ground level with double doors and automatic opening.

  • Elevator connects the two exhibition floors.

  • Wide walkways make exhibitions easy to navigate.

  • Shop accepts card, cash, and Vipps.

  • Assistive devices are welcome, including guide dogs.

 Restrooms

  • Separate ladies’ and men’s restrooms.

  • Accessible restroom (HC) with changing table.

Café Vindreken

  • Light refreshments: coffee, cakes, and snacks.

  • Gluten-free and lactose-free options available.

  • Vegan choices offered when possible. 

Museum Shop, Library, and Play Area

  • Access to museum shop and play area with games, building blocks, and drawing materials.

  • Library offers mainly Norwegian travel literature, plus some books in English and German.

Admission

  • Visitors with disabilities pay standard ticket price.

  • Companions with valid companion certificate enter free.

Service Dogs

  • Guide dogs and other service dogs are welcome in all areas.

Historic Buildings

  • Wheelchairs cannot access historic buildings.

  • All facilities in the main building are fully accessible.

  • Main exhibition: Norwegian, English, and German texts.

  • Other exhibitions: Norwegian and English.

  • Staff speak Norwegian and English.

  • Guided tours available in these languages.
