Meet the artist Sayed Sattar Hasan and his alter ego Hasansen! This evening you will get to know Hasansen's artistic journey and art practice better in the conversation between art historian and museum director Mayra Henríquez and artist Sayed Sattar Hasan.
In the exhibition Hasansen's sledge in Høgsalen, you can join a conversation on Hasan's artworks about national identity and how to take ownership of your own history. The conversation seeks to look at how contemporary art can contribute to thinking about identity, and the alternative histories and ways of seeing society.
Sayed Satter Hasan also wishes that this artist talk can start a mutual learning process between him and you. He wants to improve an extended understanding of national identity, pride and cultural heritage through an exploratory curiosity (and a solid dose of humour!) in his own artistic practice. The artist talk offers an exchange of thoughts and reflections together with you.
