Feel free to use our audio guide when visiting the museum!
At the reception you will find a QR code that takes you to information and audio guides. You can also download the audio guides directly to your mobile phone or tablet via SoundCloud. The service is free of charge and available in Norwegian, English, and German.
Guided tour
Step inside the historic buildings and hear stories of everyday life in Sogn. During the summer season, we offer a daily guided tour at the open-air museum at 1:00 pm. The tour includes visits to several houses and provides an introduction to the museum and the surrounding cultural landscape. The tour lasts approximately one hour.
Join us in caring for the animals
Get to know the farm animals and help feed them together with the farmer. Monday–Friday at 2:00 pm, from June 23 to August 4.These tours are included in the entrance ticket, and can be offered in Norwegian or English.

If you wish to come to the museum to look at objects, pictures or textiles that are not in the exhibition, please contact us well in advance. We will do our best to help, but we need some time to prepare.
